PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 26, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $353,635.75. This contract consists of the installation of a traffic signal on DeKalb Industrial Way at Milscott Drive. Roadway striping and minor sidewalk work is included. This request seeks to increase the contract term through December 31, 2024. This increase will allow additional time to complete the project due to a water main replacement project, currently active in the same location, that is negatively impacting the contractor’s schedule.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
Brooks Berry & Haynie Associates, Inc., 600 Discovery Place, Mableton, GA 30126
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
