PURPOSE:
To consider approval of Fire Captain Charles R Bray to represent the County at the 2024 Walk Out of the Darkness in England.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Walk Out of Darkness event will be held August 24, 2024 thru September 7, 2024 in England, with the primary goal of shining a spotlight on the mental health of first responders, as well as provide space for the sharing of information with other first responders related to peer support. Fire Captain Charles R. Bray is looking to attend the event and requires approval from the Board of Commissioners to represent the County at the event.
