PURPOSE:
To amend Agenda Item 2023-1512 to reflect that the $25,000 appropriation shall be used for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce's small business initiatives as shown on the attachment hereto.

NEED/IMPACT:
In December of 2023, Agenda Item 2023-1512 was approved for an appropriation of $25,000 District 2 Reserve for Appropriation funding for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Recovery Program (SBRP). This funding was to be used specifically for the Small Business Recovery Program and a proposal/scope for the SBRP was attached to Agenda Item 2023-1512. The Chamber has advised that adequate funding was not secured for the entire SBRP program, and the Chamber is not able to fulfill the programming objectives approved by the Board of Commissioners, necessitating the need to amend Agenda Item 2023-1512. The Chamber would still like to provide County-wide support and resources to all local small businesses helping advance their growth and resilience through activities like workshops and trainings and therefore this funding will be reallocated toward that effort in accordance with the attachment hereto.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The total amount appropriated shall be $25,000.00 as provided for in Agenda Item 2023-1512 as follows:
