PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 14, 2007 for an amount not to exceed $2,742,060.40. On November 15, 2016, the BOC approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price Change Order for an amount not to exceed $1,456,037.60 and established the contract expiration date of December 31, 2017. On December 5, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2018. This contract consists of the construction of the Ellenwood/River Road Branch Library. Delays have resulted from permitting time, discovery of unsuitable soils during grading and rain. This request is for additional time for project completion and warranty period.
