PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 26, 2006 for an amount not to exceed $315,750.00. On October 26, 2010, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract expiration to December 31, 2012. On January 19, 2012, Change Order No. 1 was approved for an amount not to exceed $10,850.00. On July 13, 2012, Change Order No. 3 was approved for an amount not to exceed $11,250.00. On December 7, 2012, an extension was approved to extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2014. On December 9, 2014, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 to extend the contract expiration to December 31, 2017. On December 1, 2015, Change Order No. 5 was approved for an amount not to exceed $124,167.00. On December 5, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 6 to extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2018. This contract consists of the provision of architectural and engineering services and contract administration for the construction of the Ellenwood/River Road Branch Library. Delays have resulted from permitting time, discovery of unsuitable soils during grading and rain. This request is keep the engineer of record on contract for additional time needed for the project completion and warranty period.
