PURPOSE:
To transfer the following funds from the operating accounts below to new CIP project accounts:
06101.522201.271 $750,000.00 Restroom renovations
06101.522201.271 $88,660.45 PATH trail maintenance
06113.521209.271 $133,504.13 Landscaping project Maloof Building
NEED/IMPACT:
In the County’s Mid-Year 2018 Budget, $750,000 was approved for Restroom Renovations and $100,000 for PATH Maintenance for capital repairs of trails in the parks. In addition, in the County’s Adopted 2018 Budget, $167,364 was approved for the Maloof Landscape Project/Other Professional Services. RPCA is requesting that the remaining balances for these projects be transferred to new CIP accounts. RPCA is working to award the contracts needed to complete these projects in 2019. The transfer of funds will ensure that we have the funds needed to complete these projects.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact, as this action only transfers already appropriated funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Approve the transfer of $972,164.58 from the operating budget fund 271 to new CIP accounts; and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the projects.
