PURPOSE:
To accept the terms of the Recipient - Sub-recipient Agreement from Georgia Emergency Management Agency for Homeland Security Grant #EMW-2018-SS-0067-S01, SHO18-007 in the amount of $24,926.00. This agreement governs the use of funding provided by DHS to assist our agency with enhancing its capabilities of handling emergency events. The funds will be applied to purchasing equipment found on the Authorized Equipment List (AEL).
NEED/IMPACT:
Funds provided by the grant will assist with purchasing personal protective equipment for our Georgia Search and Rescue activities in support of the goals and objectives of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency State Strategic Plan.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to county.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
