PURPOSE:
To consider approving an intergovernmental agreement between DeKalb County, Georgia and Rockdale County, Georgia for supplemental fire and rescue services and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Intergovernmental Agreement provides for automatic aid assistance between the respective fire departments for fire and/or rescue assistance for any structure fire. The Fire Department anticipates a reduction in response time to the designated area within this agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Pursuant to Intergovernmental Agreement.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
