PURPOSE:
DeKalb County, Georgia will create an intergovernmental agreement with The City of Stonecrest, Georgia, for the provision of solid waste management services
NEED/IMPACT:
The DeKalb County Sanitation department will provide solid waste management services to residential homes and commercial establishments located within the City of Stonecrest, Georgia
FISCAL IMPACT:
The residential and commercial fees assessed to the City of Stonecrest, Georgia, for services rendered, will increase the department’s annually generated revenue.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents; approve
entering into an Intergovernmental Agreement for the Provision of Solid Waste Management Services between DeKalb County, Georgia & The City of Stonecrest, Georgia.
