PURPOSE:
To consider a contract with the City of Tucker for improvements to Peters park in an amount not to exceed $246,691 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds.
NEED/IMPACT:
The BOC approved the update to the 2014-2018 Consolidated Plan including the 2018 Annual Action Plan, on July 24, 2018, which allocated CDBG funding to the City of Tucker to enable completion of this park renovation project. The park improvement will include resurfacing and widening walk paths, removal of existing park equipment, replacing benches, swings, picnic tables, as well as the installation of new water fountains.

To approve a contract with the City of Tucker for improvements to Peters Park in an amount not to exceed $246,691 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to sign all necessary documents.
