PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 7 reserves for two purposes: 1) the DeKalb County Department of Public Health for the New Year, New You Senior Program; and 2) the Flat Rock Archives for educational programming for the public.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $10,000 appropriation to the Department of Public Health will provide health education and programming to seniors, as well as support a health forum. The $10,000 appropriation to Flat Rock Archives will provide public education and enable historical preservation and archival initiatives.
