PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 7 reserves one (1) Park Naturalist position with associated salary and benefits, one (1) utility vehicle, and tools/small equipment for the Hidden Acres Nature Reserve.
NEED/IMPACT:
This appropriation fulfills a request for funding from the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Affairs Department. The $42,000 will be utilized as follows: $20,000 in salary and benefits, $13,500 for one (1) utility vehicle, $8,000 for tools/small equipment, and $500 for uniforms and clothing for the Hidden Acres Nature Reserve.
