PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on May 28, 2013 to provide emergency ambulance services and billing and collections for ambulance transport and non-transport accounts at no cost to the County. The Service Provider collects all fees for their services. On December 4, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the rate of ambulance fees, amend the terms and conditions of the existing contract and extend the contract expiration date to June 30, 2019. On June 25, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract expiration date to September 30, 2019. This request is to extend the contract term to December 30, 2019 to allow time for a new contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:
Metro Ambulance Services, Inc. d/b/a American Medical Response, Inc., 1380-D Beverage Drive, Stone Mountain, GA 30083
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
