PURPOSE:

Application of the Director of Planning & Sustainability for a text amendment to adopt the 2020 Rezone Calendar and Resolution. This text amendment affects all districts.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

COMMUNITY COUNCIL: CC-1 APPROVAL; CC-2 APPROVAL; CC-3 APPROVAL WITH A CHANGE OF LOCATION; CC-4 APPROVAL; CC-5 NO VOTE.

 

PLANNING COMMISSION: APPROVAL

 

PLANNING STAFF: APPROVAL

 

STAFF ANALYSIS: Staff recommends approving the attached 2020 Rezoning Calendar and Resolution, with the location change for Community Council District 3 to the South DeKalb Senior Center for the 2020 year. The Resolution reflects the same content as prior year.

 

PLANNING COMMISSION VOTE: Approval 8-0-0.  V. Moore moved, A. Atkins seconded for adoption of the 2020 Calendar and Resolution, with a friendly reminder to Staff that new land use applications should only be on the March and September agendas, as specified in the resolution.

 

COMMUNITY COUNCIL VOTE/RECOMMENDATION:  CC-1 Approval 3-0-0; CC-2 Approval 6-0-0; CC-3 No Quorum, the council recommended approval of the CC-3 calendar dates, with the location changed to the South DeKalb Senior Center and the April 2020 meeting date; CC-4 Approval 9-0-0; CC-5 No vote, no discussion.
