PURPOSE:
The County must preserve the warranty of its towers, modems and other Motorola communications equipment purchased under the current contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc. by utilizing a certified Motorola Service Elite Specialist to service and maintain this equipment. The vendor is the sole certified Motorola Service Elite Specialist for DeKalb County. The County has utilized this equipment since 2004.

Recommend approval of the sole source with:
Mobile Communication America, 2241 Tucker Industrial Road, Tucker, GA 30084
Amount Not To Exceed: $2,400,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents.
