PURPOSE:

To accept the benefits, terms and conditions of the 2019 EMS Trauma Related Equipment Grant from the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission.   The grant will be used to partially reimburse Fire Rescue for purchasing equipment and supplies for two DeKalb County ambulances. The amount of the award is in excess of $1,000.00.  Not To Exceed $3,000.00.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The grant will enable Fire Rescue to fully participate in all the responsibilities and benefits of being a member of the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

No Grant Funds match.  No Cost To County.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
