PURPOSE:
To consider approving a Consent to Sublease by Pope Retail Properties, LLC to Carvana, LLC and,
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the Consent to Sublease.
NEED/IMPACT:
On January 24, 2012, the County and the Airport entered into a revenue generating Lease Agreement with Pope Retail Properties, LLC for Lease Tract A and Lease Tract B. Pope Retail Properties, LLC desires to sublease a portion of the leased premises to Carvana, LLC, in accordance with Section 26 of the Lease Agreement. As a result of the sublease agreement, substantial benefit will inure to the public.
The County Attorney has reviewed the documents and approved them as to form.
The original documents are in Purchasing and Contracting Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a revenue generating initiative. There is no cost to the County.
