CO - Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. 1124403 for Teledyne ISCO Training and Support, Equipment, Software and Licenses, Parts and Related System Components for Sanitary Sewer Flow Monitoring (Sole Source): for use by the Department of Watershed Management (DWM). This contract consists of the provision of vendor support and training in the installation and maintenance of equipment, flow monitoring equipment, parts and related system components used in the completion of existing hydraulic modeling and sewer monitoring programs related to Consent Decree requirements. This request is to continue with the use of the existing sole source vendor through December 31, 2020. Awarded to Teledyne Instruments, Inc. dba Teledyne ISCO. Amount Not To Exceed: $1,750,000.00.

PURPOSE:
The County has utilized these proprietary parts for 16 years. The County currently uses over 280 Teledyne ISCO flow monitors. Only Teledyne ISCO equipment, parts and system components are compatible with existing Teledyne equipment, parts, and system components. Additionally, only Teledyne ISCO trained personnel can provide training on the use, installation, and repair of the equipment, parts and related system components. Finally, these parts are utilized to collect the data needed to complete the hydraulic modeling and sewer monitoring programs required by the Consent Decree. This request is for the continued utilization of the vendor support and training, proprietary equipment, parts and related components for one (1) year with the sole source provider.
