Adoption of Precinct Boundary Changes to evenly distribute voters between the Fernbank Elementary Precinct and the Druid Hills Precinct due to the Emory Road Precinct no longer being able to accommodate our office.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this agenda item is to consider the approval of precinct boundary changes. Under Section 9(7) of the Organizational Act and O.C.G.A. § 21-2-262(d), the Commissioners must adopt precinct boundary changes.
NEED/IMPACT:
• Split the Emory Road Precinct between the Fernbank Elementary Precinct and the Druid Hills Precinct.
In order to satisfy State Election Law Requirements and Timelines, the Registration and Elections Director will be published this agenda item in the county legal organ on November 28, 2019 and December 5, 2019.
The Board of Registration and Elections approved these changes on October 10, 2019.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This agenda item does not have any fiscal impact on the county.

To approve the new election precinct boundaries, as approved by the Board of Registration and Elections.
