PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 7 reserves for the acquisition of a 0.3-acre property at 4075 Old River Road 15-028-05-003- and 0.2-acre property at 4071 Old River Road 15-028-05-010 for expansion of the County Line Park.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $22,500 appropriation to the Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs Department will be used to expand the County Line Park through the acquisition of a 0.3-acre property at 4075 Old River Road 15-028-05-003- and 0.2-acre property at 4071 Old River Road 15-028-05-010, which are properties adjacent to the park. The purchase of the land will provide additional recreation opportunities to DeKalb residents.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following accounts by the amounts indicated below:
Contributions - Designated Services Fund - Transfer to CIP Fund (09043.611350.271.0000.0000) - $22,500
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Designated Services Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09120.579002.271.0000.0000) - $22,500
