PURPOSE:
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension and DeKalb County. This MOU will streamline the payment/HR process for extension service employees. Currently, DeKalb County issues a supplemental check to extension services employees. This new process will all for employees to receive one payroll check.
NEED/IMPACT:
To continue the agreement between the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension and DeKalb County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the county. The county would remit supplemental payment to UGA. UGA will issue one payroll check, rather than employees receiving two separate payroll check.
