PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on March 10, 2015 for an amount not to exceed $818,973.67. On October 27, 2015, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $1,750,744.78. On March 22, 2016, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $845,779.41. On February 28, 2017, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $1,027,475.41. On March 13, 2018, the BOC approved the 3rd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $851,128.47. On December 4, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $548,285.10. On March 26, 2019, the BOC approved the 4th renewal option for an amount not to exceed $1,169,897.15. This request is for additional funding and to extend the contract term to September 30, 2020.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:
Layer 3 Communications, Inc., 1450 Oakbrook Drive, Suite 900, Norcross, GA 30093
Amount Not To Exceed: $1,293,861.62
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
