PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 26, 2017 for an amount not to exceed $5,839,100.00. Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let Statewide Contract (SWC) for the purchase of electrical, HVAC, material handling, outdoor garden, cleaning, safety & security tools and supplies. These products are used in making improvements and repairs to County owned facilities. The County has been utilizing this SWC since 2007 as a Punch-out vendor through Oracle. This request is to continue utilizing the SWC. FM has requested $450,000.00 to provide support for DEMA and other departments for the supplies needed for COVID-19 response to enable the County to keep employees safe and the work environment sanitized and $50,000.00 for normal operations. Funding for all other departments is for normal operations.
