These contracts consist of sidewalks, drainage improvements and minor road improvements. CHANGE IN SCOPE OF WORK ONLY.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 24, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $4,500,000.00. On August 27, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to add $500,000 in additional SPLOST funding. On December 17, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to add funding in the amount of $30,000.00 from District 2 Park Bond funds for a concrete slab for Frazier Rowe Park Pavilion to the SD&C contract. These contracts consist of sidewalks, drainage improvements and minor road improvements. This request is to authorize the addition of line items such as traffic control and grading required to complete the work but not included in the original solicitation scope of work or pricing for the project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 to the contracts with:
Autaco Development, 2099 Washington Road, East Point, GA 30344 (Note: LSBE-MSA Firm)
Note: LSBE Participation: 20%
SD&C, Inc., 4773 Covington Highway, Decatur, GA 30035 (Note: LSBE-DeKalb Firm)
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change orders and all associated documents
