PURPOSE:
To authorize the reallocation of $7,000,000.00 of funds on deposit in account 1005003.803351.541403.01602109 (which funds were originally received from the sale of the Clark Harrison Building and subsequently reallocated to reimburse the County from the purchase of certain vehicles described in Agenda Item 2018-2865 adopted on December 4, 2018) to the renovation of Buildings #1 and 2 at 178 Sams Street.

NEED/IMPACT:

This action reallocates $7,000,000.00 of the moneys in such capital account to the 178 Sams Street renovation (Building 1 and 2). The lease at 330 West Ponce de Leon Avenue ends December 2021; consequently several county departments must vacate the building. DFACS (Department of Family and Children Services) which was located at 178 Sams Street completely exited the building in March.

FISCAL IMPACT:
None.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
