PURPOSE:
Due to COVID-19, the timeline for the collection of Census 2020 data has changed. These changes necessitate a need for an updated Census 2020 Operating Budget as requested by the OPS committee on April 14, 2020.
NEED/IMPACT:
Increased timeframe for Census 2020 data collection until July 31, 2021.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total cost of the operating budget increase until July 31, 2021 is $381,616. This additional funding will come from the general fund non-departmental account 09110.521209.100 (other professional services).
