PURPOSE:
Consists of piggybacking off the competitively let NPPGOV Cooperative Contract RFP#1420 to purchase one (1) Sutphen Heavy Duty 100’ Mid-Mount Tractor Drawn Aerial Ladder (Tiller) for aerial fire suppression, aerial ladder and ground ladder deployment on the ground, and rescue operations. This unit is replacing a unit with 147,868 miles on it with 15 years’ service currently in use as a reserve aerial unit. This is a replacement unit under the twelve (12) year replacement schedule.
