SS - Purchase of two (2) Model 395L 84” McCrometer finished water flow meters (Sole Source): for use by the Department of Watershed Management (DWM). Consists of providing accurate measurements of the volumes of potable water discharged by the Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant. These measurements are required by the State of Georgia. Awarded to The Avanti Company. Amount Not To Exceed: $116,607.00.

PURPOSE:
The State of Georgia requires DeKalb County to accurately measure the volume of potable water discharge by the Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant. The McCrometer finished water flow meters are Full Profile Insertion (FPI) Mag Meters that can be installed on the County’s preexisting taps to replace the two (2) inaccurate Venturi meters without service interruptions. Purchasing McCrometer finished water flow meters will prevent the County from paying construction cost due to line shutdown.
