PURPOSE:
To consider accepting -$200,925.00for the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriating the amount to a new Grant Fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded -$200,925.00 to the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court to use toward staff training, psychiatric & nursing services, counseling services, housing, medication, drug testing & monitoring supplies, and transportation costs for program participants. The grant period is from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The required cash match ($22,325) will be met through the Superior Court Operating and DATE Fund budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Grant in the amount of $200,925.00. Funding has to be spent by June 30th 2021, end of State FY 2021

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept $200,925.00 for DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriate the amount to a new Grant Fund
