Transfer of Funds to City of Tucker for Johns Homestead

PURPOSE:
To transfer funds in the amount of $98,760.48 to the City of Tucker for the Johns Homestead property. Funds will be transferred from the following 2001 Parks Bond accounts:
2001 Parks Bond District 4 104302.80314.541200.01.600022 $60,510.48
2001 Parks Bond District 7 104949.80314.541200.06.600015 $20,000.00
2001 Parks Bond District 7 104301.80314.541200.01.600309 $18,250.00
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds are needed by the City of Tucker for the restoration of the John Homestead structure. The building on the Johns Homestead property has structural concerns and the funds will be used to stabilize the structure. The Johns Homestead property is now owned by the City of Tucker, and RPCA will transfer the remaining funds for this project to the City of Tucker per the intergovernmental agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact to the operating budget. Funds will be transferred from the 2001 Parks Bond

Recommended Action
To approve the resolution to transfer of $98,760.48 from the 2001 Parks Bond to the City of Tucker for the Johns Homestead property and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the process.
