PURPOSE:
To increase the project account for the acquisition of 1634 Briarcliff Road 18-057-02-012 from $40,000 to $58,000. The acquisition was approved by the Board of Commissioners on agenda item 2019-4750 in December 2019. The additional $18,000 is to be transferred from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 account 100592.80314.541100.05.600010.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs department will acquire this property and clear it to be used for passive greenspace. The additional funds will cover an increase in purchase price and due diligence costs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact to the 2019 operating budget. The project will be funded from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 account.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution to allocate an additional $18,000 to acquire the property at 1634 Briarcliff Road 18-057-02-012 from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 account 100592.80314.541100.05.600010; and to authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
