PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on March 28, 2017 for an amount not to exceed $163,800.00. On March 31, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $661,038.79. This request is to extend the term of the contract to December 31, 2023 and add additional funding in the amount of $853,508.40 for the licenses related to the County’s HCM Cloud. This request is part of a project that will comprise three separate agenda items. Agenda Item No. 2020-0949 for Professional Services for the Implementation of an Oracle HCM Cloud System to replace the current PeopleSoft HCM on-premise system was created for an amount not to exceed $7,645,000.00. There will be a separate future agenda item that will be for the Pension component of the project. The total funding for the project will be for an amount not to exceed $9,500,000.00.

Recommend approval of Change Order No 2 with:
Oracle America, Inc. 500 Oracle Pkwy., Red Shores, CA 94065
Amount Not To Exceed: $853,508.40
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
