PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on November 7, 2016 for a total amount not to exceed $2,396,538.00. On April 10, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to extend the term of the contracts to December 31,2019 and increased the contracts for an amount not to exceed $2,400,000.00. On June 11, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No.2 to increase the contracts for an amount not to exceed $3,400,000.00. On October 8, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to increase the contracts for an amount not to exceed $2,900,000.00 and to extend the contract through December 31, 2020. This request is to extend the contract term though June 30, 2021 to continue working on the back log of Stormwater projects.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 4 with:
A&S Paving, Inc., 2747 S. Stone Mountain-Lithonia Road, Lithonia, GA 30058
Note: LSBE Participation: 20%
Kemi Construction Company, Inc., 2550 W. Point Avenue, College Park, GA 30337
Note: LSBE Participation: 20%
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change orders and all associated documents.
