PURPOSE:
•To consider approving the 2018 - 2019 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to receive project supplies and equipment; and
•To consider accepting project supplies and equipment purchased by UASI on behalf of the DeKalb Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) in the amount of $194,261.39; and
•To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
This MOU governs the provision and use of supplies and equipment purchased by the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) for sustaining the Citizen Corps Program, Interoperability Program, and the WebEOC.
