PURPOSE:
To consider entering into a project agreement with the PATH Foundation for $76,600 for development of a comprehensive concept plan for the North Fork Peachtree Creek Greenway; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
NEED/IMPACT:
On November 17, 2020 the Board of Commissioners committed $150,000 of District 6 Category 1M SPLOST funds for the development of a Comprehensive Concept Plan for the North Fork Peachtree Creek Greenway. On December 15, 2020 the Board of Commissioners approved entering into a master agreement with the PATH Foundation for the planning, designing, and construction management of greenway trails in DeKalb County. The master agreement requires Board of Commissioners approval for all subsequent project agreements. This project agreement will facilitate the development of alternative trail alignments and connections including estimated costs and recommended phasing.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Previously committed Category 1M SPLOST funds in the amount of $76,600 will be used cover the cost of this project agreement.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To enter into a project agreement with the PATH Foundation for $76,600 for development of a comprehensive concept plan for the North Fork Peachtree Cree Greenway; and
To authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
