PURPOSE:

On September 8, 2020, Purchase Order No. 1224871 was approved in the amount of $91,120.00 for an emergency purchase for On-Call Electrostatic Disinfectant Vaporized Spraying services for 17 weeks at nine (9) Public Safety facilities through December 31, 2020.  This emergency request is for additional funding in the amount of $133,952.00 for the continuation of services at the same facilities for an additional 26 weeks through July 31, 2021.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Emergency Purchase Order No. 1244012 for additional funding with:

 

144 Common Street Ventures, Inc. DBA Enviro-Master Services of Atlanta Southeast, 2650 Pleasantdale Road, Unit 11 Doraville, Georgia 30340

 

Amount Not To Exceed:  $133,952.00

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1. Funding:                     CARES (Police Services)

2. Justification:               Vapor Spray disinfectant ingredients are EPA registered and of hospital-grade and kill pathogens that linger on touch points including door handles, desks, keyboards. This service is needed to minimize the threat to the health, welfare and safety of the staff and public.  Without the services, there will be loss of essential government services.
