PURPOSE:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks Board of Commissions approval to rename the Rowland Road Park to Split Creek Park.
NEED/IMPACT:
At the request of the surrounding community, RPCA seeks approval to rename the DeKalb County two acres park at 1227 Rowland Road from Rowland Road Park to Split Creek Park. The new name reflects the topography of the area which includes Snapfinger Creek and Indian Creek.

Recommended Action
To approve the resolution to rename Rowland Road Park to Split Creek Park ; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
