PURPOSE:

Allocation to Appropriate (Not to exceed) $150,000.00 of Federal America Rescue Plan Funds reserved for District 4 in POETA Account # ARP POETA #105726-69110-521209-01-602476 to community organizations
listed for the purpose of housing insecurity, rental, utility assistance, community food distribution and other essential needs for individuals and families impacted by COVID-19.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

DeKalb stakeholders servicing constituents have a need for financial support to provide essential resources, relief and support to DeKalb County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. DeKalb Community Development Department will have oversight for the program management, and monitoring of the $150,000.00 in funding allocations to community organizations.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

DeKalb stakeholders servicing constituents have a need for financial support to provide essential resources and relief and support to DeKalb County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
