PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on April 28, 2020 for an amount not to exceed $181,000.00. This contract consists of the inspection, care, maintenance and cleaning of personal protective equipment which includes coats (shell and liner), pants (shell and liner), helmets, firefighting gloves, and firefighting boots. The services ensure compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1851 Regulations established for care and maintenance of structural firefighting gear to increase safety and reduce physical health risks and biohazards encountered. The original award was funded for only one (1) year of the five (5) year term. This request is to add funding to the contract for the balance of the five (5) year term.
