PURPOSE:
Appropriate $2,504.43 from Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding assigned to Grant Fund #258, reserved for District 2 to the Central DeKalb Senior Center for items and supplies related to safe interaction and any other essential needs to address hardships for seniors created by the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
NEED/IMPACT:
This funding will place additional resources with the Central DeKalb Senior Center to provide relief and support to seniors, workers, and families that have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, this funding will provide additional resources to assist in reaching vulnerable senior communities.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will come from District 2 CARES Act Funding Grant Fund #258, reserved for District 2 to be appropriated to the Central DeKalb Senior Center.
