PURPOSE:
To assist in financing the Decatur Legacy Project, Inc. and John Lewis Commemorative Task Force's creation, dedication, and placement of a Memorial to the late John Lewis on the grounds of the Historic DeKalb County Courthouse in Decatur, Georgia. The Memorial will be owned by DeKalb County.
NEED/IMPACT:
This allocation provides financial support to the Decatur Legacy Project, Inc. and John Lewis Commemorative Task Force's creation, dedication, and placement of a Memorial to the late John Lewis that will be owned by DeKalb County, Georgia and placed on the grounds of the Historic DeKalb County Courthouse in Decatur, Georgia.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$98,500 from the District 5 Reserve For Appropriation discretionary fund.

To approve the allocation and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
