PURPOSE:
On January 20, 2022, a substitute for agenda item 2021-3410 was submitted to correct a scrivener’s error in the amount of the SPLOST funding stated in the agenda item. On January 25, 2022, the BOC deferred the submitted substitute item to the next meeting. On January 31, 2022, a second substitute was submitted to reduce the overall amount to $5,644,595.00 in accordance with the OIIA audit. On February 8, 2022, the BOC awarded a substitute agenda item for 2021-3410 to three (3) bidders. It was determined that clarification was needed to expressly state which substitute was approved.
This agenda item is to:
1. Amend the record to indicate the substitute submitted on January 31, 2022 containing the corrected SPLOST funding and the reduced overall funding is the is the correct and approved substitute for the award of Sidewalks and Roadways for an amount not to exceed $5,644,595.00.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval to approve the correction of a scrivener’s error in agenda item 2021-3410 and confirm the substitute that was awarded was the substitute submitted January 31, 2022 to for the award of Sidewalks & Roadways.
