PURPOSE:
To approve a resolution to appropriate Federal America Rescue Plan funds reserved for District 4 for the purposes of partnering with Decatur Family YMCA to assist with housing insecurity, utility relief, food distribution and essential needs as defined by American Rescue Plan criteria for use not to exceed $50,000.00.
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb stakeholders servicing constituents have a need for financial support to provide essential resources, relief and support to DeKalb County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Allocation of $50,000.00 from district 4 ARP POETA #105726-69110-521209-01-602476.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
