PURPOSE:
Consists of purchasing twelve 39-foot dump trailers to safely carry sludge from the treatment plants to the landfill. This purchase is more cost effective to the County as it relates to daily operating costs. Two (2) Invitations to Bid (ITB) were processed in 2021 to obtain these trailers through a competitive process and no bids were received for either ITB. DWM was able to locate a source for the trailers and it is hereby submitted for consideration as a sole source award.
