PURPOSE:
To accept the donation from the Atlanta Hawks organization to enhance an area at NH Scott Recreation Center that will serve as a “Place for Teens” game room. This gift is valued at $85,000.00
NEED/IMPACT:
This donation to DeKalb County’s NH Scott Recreation Center will create a much needed “Place for Teens” to include an activity area with portable tables and chairs, whiteboard, projector screen and game tables. The area will also include a reading area with soft seating, individual workstations, and a tech/gaming area. These enhancements will offer the young people of the NH Scott communities more recreational opportunities for years to come

This donation is valued at $85,000
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve and accept the donation from the Atlanta Hawks organization to enhance an area at NH Scott Recreation Center that will serve as a “Place for Teens” game room valued at $85,000.00; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
