Proposed Sale of a Permanent Easement to Atlanta Gas Light of County owned property located at DeKalb Peachtree Airport. There is no cost to the County.

PURPOSE:
To authorize the sale of a permanent easement of 7,512 square feet (0.172 acre) of County owned property located at DeKalb Peachtree Airport, on the corner of New Peachtree Road and Hardee Avenue, Property Tax ID 18-270-01-073, with such easement area to be utilized by Atlanta Gas Light.
Atlanta Gas Light will pay the County $34,100. Atlanta Gas Light will install temporary fencing during construction for the police dog training area protection and will re-install new barbed-wire permanent fence with a 24/7 Atlanta Gas Light access gate after construction completion.
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the permanent and temporary easement documents and any other necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
To grant and approve execution of the permanent easement documents.
The County Attorney is finalizing the easement documents in an acceptable form for the Chief Executive Officer to execute.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost to the County.
