PURPOSE:
Pursuant to 13A of the Organizational Act where “The chief executive shall nominate a person to the commission, “CEO Thurmond is nominating Bernard Taylor, Sr., Esq. for appointment to the Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority (Grady). This term will begin upon confirmation by the Board of Commissioners.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority is committed to working to meet the healthcare needs of Fulton and DeKalb counties residents. Bernard Taylor, Sr., Esq. currently serves as a mediator and arbitrator for JAMS. He previously served as lead trial counsel for Grady Health System for over 30 years and has a proven track record in resolving complex litigation. Attorney Taylor will be an asset to The Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority.
