PURPOSE:
In compliance with Section 11(b) of the DeKalb County Organizational Act, which states that during the first regular meeting of each year, the commission shall elect from its membership a Presiding Officer.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Board of Commissioners nominates and elects a Presiding Officer each year.
