PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 14, 2021, for an amount not to exceed $227,520.00. This contract consists of the purchase of salt. This request seeks to add Public Works - R&D to the contract and increase contract funds and scope of work in support of this addition. R&D requires road salt in large enough quantities to restock winter weather emergency response materials. This material is used to keep DeKalb County roads, bridges, and facilities passible, safe and free of snow and ice during winter weather events.
