NEED/IMPACT:
The D.A.’s Office was awarded $533,200 under the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Prosecuting Cold Cases Using DNA grant. Funds are available in the grant to completely cover the Investigative Program Director position, which will be classified as Job Code 32180, Grade 27.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No additional or matching funds are required, and no additional funds are needed to develop the initiative; no funds are being requested.
